1. Who we are

2. Personal data we may collect

• Newsletter data: your email address, consent status, subscription/confirmation records, and unsubscribe status.
• Contact data: information you choose to send when contacting us by email.
• Technical and security data: browser/device information, IP-related information, security signals, logs, and similar data needed to operate and protect the site.
• Cookie and usage data: information produced by cookies or similar technologies where they are used and, when legally required, only after your consent.
• Affiliate interaction data: clicks, referral identifiers, conversion information, and related tracking information that may be processed by affiliate networks or travel partners.

3. Why we use personal data

We may process personal data to operate and secure the website, respond to enquiries, manage newsletter subscriptions, measure website and affiliate performance, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve our content and services.

Legal bases

Depending on the activity, processing may rely on your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, steps taken at your request, or compliance with a legal obligation. Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

4. Newsletter and Brevo

Newsletter subscriptions are managed using Brevo. The signup form asks for your email address and an explicit consent checkbox. A double opt-in process is used: after submitting the form, you must confirm your email before the subscription is completed. You can unsubscribe using the link included in newsletter emails.

Brevo may process subscriber data on our behalf as an email-service provider. We retain newsletter data while your subscription remains active and may keep limited suppression or consent records where necessary to respect opt-out requests or demonstrate compliance.

5. Google reCAPTCHA

The newsletter form uses Google reCAPTCHA to reduce spam and automated submissions. Google may process technical information and security signals when reCAPTCHA is used. Please review Google’s own privacy information for details about its processing.

6. Affiliate links, booking partners and external services

Bliss Travel Blueprint contains affiliate links, widgets, and booking resources from third parties. Examples may include Stay22, Travelpayouts, Expedia Group, CJ advertisers, GetYourGuide, Viator, lastminute.com and other travel partners. When you click or use a partner service, the partner may receive referral and technical information and will process data under its own privacy policy.

Bliss Travel Blueprint does not control the personal-data practices of independent third-party booking providers. Before booking or providing payment details, review the provider’s privacy terms.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use strictly necessary technologies and, where enabled, analytics, affiliate, advertising, embedded-content or preference technologies. Where Italian/EU law requires consent for non-essential cookies or tracking tools, they should not be activated until valid consent has been obtained. See our Cookie Policy for more information.

8. Sharing and international transfers

Personal data may be handled by service providers that support hosting, email delivery, security, analytics, affiliate attribution, or embedded travel tools. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate legal transfer safeguards should be used by the relevant controller or processor.

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, security, accounting, dispute-resolution and compliance needs. Retention periods vary depending on the data and service involved.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. In Italy, this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
